Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Bonjour mon cher blog. Il neige ici Fredericton, wink, wink, wink. Thank you google for the French, eh, LOL.

Okay, so the exciting and scariest (for me) part of Canada's four season is here, unofficially, and we just experienced the first snow storm here at the Atlantic Region. It started last week with snow dusting (as shown below) then came the snow storm.

This is our very first experience with the snow thing and I am just so excited to blog them with pictures, LOL. Even in my FB is flooded with snow pictures. You know who are first timers in FB when all that they are posting are all about snow and I am one of them, LOL. I don't care. All first time experiences has to be blogged and taken with pictures, hahaha, that is me. Well, my teacher in H&R Block warned us already with the storm last Monday, 28 November 2016. She even told us that maybe, but I hope (teehee), our class will be cancelled today because of the 10-15 cm high snow and that classes are usually called off at the first drop of snow (or during snow storm, forgot it). Why? Because it is during those times that the roads are at its slipperiest.

Anyway, yesterday, 29 November 2016 at around past 7:00 PM, the inevitable happened. The snow started to drop just when we have to go to work. Excited as a kid, I hurriedly told my husband to take a bath and change so we could have picture taking, hahahaha, before going to work.

The challenge of braving the cold weather makes me go crazy being that I have allergies with it back home. And the coldest I have so far experience is at 10-12 degrees Celsius in the coldest capital of Philippines, Baguio City. I grow up there but have to go to a warmer place when I started working because of my allergy with the cold weather plus the fact that my scar (due to an accident) is adding up to the agony of it all. In fact, I have already a windburned lips when Fall started and my left arm is in pain (sometimes, I feel it will break again in two, ouch) that is why from the very start (even back in the Philippines) I keep on telling my husband to learn to drive, bla bla bla. He has no other recourse now but to enroll himself in a driving school (I'll blog this soon, he is on his third week now), LOL, because he can really see me struggling with the cold. This negative temperature is freaking me out but I have to get used with it and survived it, LOL.

Going back, geared up with our camera and tripod, we went out to play with the snow and of course take selfies, LOL. Yes, I am a certified freaking addict of picture taking, I love them, and my husband has no choice but to get use to it, wink wink wink. Thanks to technology for making photoshoots easier, LOL. Before going to work, the snow started to pile up just like below.

Compared to last week's snow dusting, yesterday's snowfall is continuous and has lots to offer us. In fact, because of the heavy snow Fredericton has a power outage at our workplace at around 2:30 AM and some place as of this writing. Like in my past work, there is also no generator so NBPNP UPSers just compiled in one place for chitchats, LOL. (P.S. we are now using generator at work and another storm snow is here, so, no power still in some part of New Brunswick, 1 December 2016)  We went home at 6:30 AM with still no power. Oh, and according to news there is more snow this evening. I hope there is power at UPS later. As soon as we arrived from work, the selfie world strikes again and below now is the aftermath of the continuous snow just this morning at 7:00 AM, LOL.

This is yet the start and there is more to experience with the snow thing. This is just a portion of it hahaha. So, be ready readers and keep the excitement going up. Until next blog.
