NBPNP ITA

Today, 26 September 2015 at 1:57 AM (Philippine Time), after four attempts of sending EOI, we finally received the golden invitation to apply (ITA) from NBPNP EELMS.

So, this is how it feels when you receive an ITA. It is so overwhelming. Just yesterday, I was again emotional when I have read from Canada Visa forum that NB has given out ITAs to some applicants. I checked my email hoping I receive one too but got no mail from NB.

Today, unlike the other weeks, where I normally check email from NB, I did not have the guts to check my yahoo mail for fear of being heartbr oken again. However, I refreshed my mailbox just the same then came two messages popping out. The other one caught my attention which says "Entree Express". I did not finish reading the mail or even manage to open it and just jumped out of our bed looking for my husband, LOL. I know it is the golden ITA since NB specifically stated in their reply-email to our EOI that they will contact us once our EOI is accepted. True enough, when I have reached my husband and he started reading my mail, the above image states it all.

We cried. Yeah, that is tears of joy but it is more than the normal tears of joy because we know, in our hearts, it is for our little R. We cannot thank enough our Father God for answering our prayers, for directing guiding and leading our way. We know that our journey to our Canada dream for our little R will take a lot more time but we will get there. Our Father God will continue to guide us in our journey because He knows that, more than anything else, this is for our goal and dream of being parents too. We will get by, slowly but surely. One step at a time. To God be all our glory and praise. Thank you dear Father God.

Change Of NOC

In every endeavor that we enter into, always remember to play your game right.

Take for example in pursuing our Canada dream under the FSW program, it is not enough that we prepare the requirements, take an IELTS exam, provide an ECA, register with MyCIC, etc. etc. We also have to read additional information from CIC website or Canada Provinces' websites where PNP programs are detailed for each provinces. If the information are not enough, then join forums or ask my friend google. It is very important that an applicant applying for immigration to Canada must be equipped with knowledge so you can play your game right.

Why am telling this? Because with my requirements only, less from that of my husband, our CRS score is running only at 313. Very low as to previous draws of CIC where the lowest so far since our EE registration in June 2015 is at CRS 451. Thus, instead of waiting for the CRS draw to go down, we searched and read other options. And that is to either have a valid job offer with LMIA or a PNP nomination which will boost your CRS score with an additional 600 points.

Fast forward, we actually concentrated in applying through NB PNP. We do not have any connection in NB, meaning an education, a job offer nor any relatives, but my husband and I both attended an Information Session provided by said province which makes us eligible to apply in their 2015 NB PNP EELMS under Second Priority Stream.

Now, if you have read my previous post, I actually did Plan B and changed my NOC, from 1242 to 1311, and re-applied with NB. Click "Older Post" below so you will understand more.

I prepared my new EOI as early as August 2015 under principal NOC 1311 just in case I will not receive an ITA from my 11 August EOI under NOC 1242. Came the end of August, 1 September here in the Philippines, and no email or ITA from NB. I was hoping but I know also that my NOC is not in their demand stream so move on.

Thus, on 3 September 2015, after coming home from the province due to an emergency situation, I sent another EOI to NB. It is always an advantage if we keep on visiting their website and re-read to find additional information, criteria or requirement provided on it. Indeed, they have. First requirement, of course, is to send your EOI.

Secondly, a latest CV as stated below and in their website:
If you have determined that you meet the requirements of the Program, your next step is to determine if you are eligible to submit an expression of the interest (EOI) to the NBPNP EELMS. Please review the Eligibility Requirements to Submit an EOI section to see if you are eligible. Once you have established both Program and EOI eligibility, complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form and email it to entree.express.entry@gnb.ca, along with your most recent CV.  Upon receiving your information, NBPNP staff will evaluate your submission and invite the most suitable candidates to apply to the EELMS.
Good thing, I have a ready CV which is under a Canadian format. Yes, Canada and Philippines CV are way to different. I googled and found some example CV. I have used this CV to apply in monster.ca but I don't think I can land a job offer when I am not in Canada. I tried sending 5 or more applications, but to date, no replies. I did not know I will use the CV in NB PNP, LOL.

Finally, under Second Priority Stream of NB PNP, the registration date and event or name of the NB Staff you met and state the place and date. What I did is I screened shot NBs reply to me during my registration in their Information Session and I attached it in my email together with my EOI and latest CV. See quote below as stated here:
You must demonstrate that you have attended an information session. For instance, provide your registration date and event or name of the NBPNP staff you met and state the place and date.
So, for new application to NB PNP, email EOI, latest CV and a copy of your registration in the Information Session. At least, this is what I did. In my email, I also stated there the names of the NB Staffs during the Information Session on 17 July 2015 here in Manila, Philippines.

Thus, the waiting game continuous. We are earnestly praying for a good result this time and we are positive of it because we know that God will provide all our prayers.
