NBPNP ITA

Today, 26 September 2015 at 1:57 AM (Philippine Time), after four attempts of sending EOI, we finally received the golden invitation to apply (ITA) from NBPNP EELMS.

So, this is how it feels when you receive an ITA. It is so overwhelming. Just yesterday, I was again emotional when I have read from Canada Visa forum that NB has given out ITAs to some applicants. I checked my email hoping I receive one too but got no mail from NB.

Today, unlike the other weeks, where I normally check email from NB, I did not have the guts to check my yahoo mail for fear of being heartbr oken again. However, I refreshed my mailbox just the same then came two messages popping out. The other one caught my attention which says "Entree Express". I did not finish reading the mail or even manage to open it and just jumped out of our bed looking for my husband, LOL. I know it is the golden ITA since NB specifically stated in their reply-email to our EOI that they will contact us once our EOI is accepted. True enough, when I have reached my husband and he started reading my mail, the above image states it all.

We cried. Yeah, that is tears of joy but it is more than the normal tears of joy because we know, in our hearts, it is for our little R. We cannot thank enough our Father God for answering our prayers, for directing guiding and leading our way. We know that our journey to our Canada dream for our little R will take a lot more time but we will get there. Our Father God will continue to guide us in our journey because He knows that, more than anything else, this is for our goal and dream of being parents too. We will get by, slowly but surely. One step at a time. To God be all our glory and praise. Thank you dear Father God.

Dear PJ,

I have a basic doubt. Even when we get the PR through a PNP, how will we survive in Canada without a job ? So isnt it better to find a job in Canada, and increase the points rather than take the PNP route ?

please suggest...
regards,
Dileepan.

Hi Dileepan C. I believe thinking positively that we can land a job once we get to Canada is the key answer. After all, we have our ECA and IELTS plus our years of experience in our respective professions will help us land a job through God's grace.

Note also that landing a job outside Canada is very rare. In fact, job bank is not working so getting a job is not a solution for us especially a job which has a valid LMIA. Thus, PNP is the better route especially those applicants, like me/us, who has a CRS score lower than 450.

We will get by my friend. I know it is a big risk to go in another country without a job yet but we will get through just think positive and pray. :)

All the best on your application. :)

Dear PJ,

Thanks for the response. Yes, even my score is less and since getting a job offer sitting outside Canada is almost zero, looks like PNP is the only way to get PR at the moment. You mentioned 'job bank is not working'....but i see a lot of jobs posted in there.

regards,
Dileepan.

Hi Dileepan C. Job Bank is not working because the job match showing on my dashboard is different from my NOC. Also, I always receive an email notification from job bank but the NOC there is totally different from my NOC. I tried to log out on my account then tried to search on my NOC but when I tried applying and is asking me to log in, the job I was to apply went to nowhere. Then I have confirmed through forum that job bank is not really working. Thanks.

Hi Louie. Thank you po.

With regards to your query, I honestly do not know kasi first time ko lang din apply for immigration sa Canada. What I did is I joined forums, like, Pinoy to Canada and Canada Visa. No consultant kami and I just rely on forums and google. Luckily, I got ITA from NB.

What I know is nasa demand professions ang job mo. I just don't know kung regulated ba yan. Then sa Alberta PNP, they require job with valid LMIA. Meron iba PNPs na they dont require job or connection like NB. Tingnan mo yun post ko sa PNP para magkarun ka idea sa programs per province. Andun na din links ng websites.

Good luck.

Hi Ms PJ, what should we write at the area beside "* Why are you a good candidate for NB: -Family in NB; -Visits to NB; -Work or education in NB"? The field only accepts numbers :(

JustPJ said...

Hi Ban-Nie. Try using adobe and click on comment, that will do. Sell yourself on why are you a good candidate for NB. Why they have to pick your EOI, sample you have IELTS, etc. Good luck.

Thanks Ms PJ, I sent an email again (coz I did not type anything at that area). But this time I got this auto-generated email "We are currently not accepting EOIs. Please follow our website for updates." :(

JustPJ said...

Don't worry Ban-Nie, try sending again next month. Remember NB conducted 11 information sessions here in the Philippines, maybe they are receiving a lot of applicant so try again next mid of February and then next month. All the best on your application. :)

Hi Srinath, keep on reading my friend. And do not forget to check on livinginnb.ca site just in case NBPNP staffs go in your country. It will really help a lot in your application. Good luck.

Hi Mam JustPJ. I find your blogs very informative and helpful.
Just want to ask how you signed up for the information session. I think that was one of the factors which helped you to get the golden ITA. :)

JustPJ said...

Hi Ay_Cruz, thank you for dropping by. Yes, NBs information session helped us to achieve our Canada dream. You can bookmark livinginnb.ca if you want to attend their sessions. If you are a Filipino, you may wish to check it now coz they are again coming to the Philippines for the 3rd time. If I am not mistaken this coming June. I wish you the best on your application.

Hi JustPJ,

I have submitted my EOI to NBPNP today and received mail stating it will be processed. Your blog about NBPNP is amazing having loads of information. Hope you have great stay in fredericton. Good Luck with your job hunt.

JustPJ said...

Thank you ganman. I wish you well too in your application.

Manna said...

Dear PJ,
I already sumbitted my EOI and left the section '* Why are you a good candidate for NB: -Family in NB; -Visits to NB; -Work or education in NB'? blank. Because I couldn't write anything there and it just allows numbers. Do you think it's a major issue? Thanks a lot.

JustPJ said...

Hi Manna. I think it is because we are required to answer that portion. Maybe you can try to send another EOI. In your email, state there to disregard your previous email and that NB accepts your new EOI. All the best.

Manna said...

Dear PJ,
Sorry, couldn't reply you earlier. I sent an email inquiring about the matter and an officer replied that i won't have to resubmit it cause I attended the info session.
Thanks a lot anyway.

JustPJ said...

No problem Manna.😊

Manna said...

Dear Precious,

You were very lucky that you got your ITA quickly. I guess it's taking almost two months even though someone attended info session. I sent mine on 8th June,2016 and still no ITA yet. Hoping to get it soon. :(

JustPJ said...

But who is precious? :) Just pray and believe you will get your ITA soon Manna. All the best on your application. :)

Manna said...

Sorry about your name. But i know i got it right :).
I made one more mistake on my EOI. It's the subject. I think I am gonna send another EOI on 1st of next month.

JustPJ said...

Hi Manna, just send another EOI and indicate in your email to disregard the previous EOI and accept the corrected one. Good luck.
