NBPNP AOR

My husband and I sent our full application to NBPNP last 20 October 2015, Philippine time, via DHL courier. As per my forum friends, DHL is much better and reliable to use than LBC when sending the full application. It is more expensive but at least you can be sure that your full application will not go travelling around as per other's experience through LBC.

Our documents were sent at DHL branch in Makati City and they promised us 3 working days for our full application to reach NBPNP. Please note that, as per their new rule, DHL asked me to remove the PO Box No. stated in NBPNP address to which I did, see below:

DHL also told me to go to their website to track on the whereabouts of our full application to which I did. True to their words, our full application arrived at NBPNP on 23 October 2015, Canada time, and 24 October 2015, Philippine time (a Saturday). Unlike other applicants, they automatically received an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) same day when their full application were delivered. I checked my mail but no email from NBPNP. Good thing DHL puts on record the person who received our full application. I checked on NB website the name of the person who received our documents and I was relieved to see that she is the Administrative Assistant. All I need to do now is wait for Tuesday, Philippine time, and Monday, Canada time, for an email from NBPNP. Below is the tracking details of our full application:

Came, Tuesday, and the NBPNP AOR email popped out on my mailbox. Happy us. Off to another stage and another waiting game in our Canada dream for our little R.

Thank you dear Lord for all the guidance you have given us through out this process. We cannot thank you enough for all your help.

NBPNP Full Application

After receiving an ITA on 26 September 2015, we were given 60 days from said date to send a full application to NBPNP. We have until 25 November 2015 within which to do so.

Most applicants will either have a hard time completing (a) proof of fund or settlement fund, or (b) a detailed reference letter or a certificate of employment. Other requirements is easy to produce for as long as you complete them ahead of time. Do not make documentation only when the need arises. It is like going to a war, applicants must be ready with his or her full documents so that when an invitation comes or a new program opens, then you will not have a hard time submitting a full application.

In the case of NBPNP, it is stated in their ITA email that I should include a copy of it and a copy of the EOI that I submitted. Thus, first things first, I printed the ITA email and my EOI email to NBPNP dated 3 September 2015 including the required latest CV and my registration to the Information Session of 17 July 2015. I stapled the 2-page ITA email and EOI email with its attachments and clipped them together using a paper clip.

After which, I went to NB website for the forms and guidelines as stated in the ITA email, to wit:

If you have any questions, please visit our website:  www.welcomenb.ca.  Our Guide for Express Entry Applicants explains the process.  Please access the forms needed by clicking on: Skilled Workers Applicants Express Entry Category: Labour Market Stream.
I admit I did have a hard time filling up the forms as it is so tricky, LOL. Anyway, after downloading all the forms, use the Document Checklist as your guide so as not to be lost like me, LOL. Read properly and follow instructions. Also, forum friends are very helpful in the application so do not hesitate to ask questions.

Below are the checklist of documents required by NBPNP. Almost all documents required by NBPNP are original copies, so be prepared to have multiple copies of your documents.

First, NBPNP-001: Declaration of Commitment, and, second, NBPNP-002: Consent Form for Skilled Worker Applicants Forms. So, as per those who submitted their full applications before us, we were told to print 2 sets of these forms. Each forms must be completed, dated and signed by the principal applicant (PA) and his or her spouse and have the same signed by a witness. In our case, I asked my office mate to stand as our witness. All original signed copies.

Third, NBPNP-DCEELMS: Express Entry Labour Market Stream Information Form. This is to be filled up and signed by the PA only. In this form, applicants must provide their Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code. Also, the details of the PA and his or her spouse, i.e. education, addresses, work experience, language, etc. I hate the date parts here, so tricky, LOL. Original signed copy.

Note that I clipped together the first three forms.

Fourth, NBPNP-004: Skilled Worker-Employer Support Form. This is not applicable to us so I just marked the provided box with an "X" and put on an N/A on it so NB will know that I am not attaching Form NBPNP-004.

Fifth, NBPNP-007: Personal Net Worth Statement. My husband and I has no 6 months or older bank accounts, in fact we tend to open and close our bank accounts, because of infertility medications and procedures to which we already explained in our Letter of Explanation (LOE). What we have is a house and lot where we offered for sale and was sold before we got an ITA from NBPNP. The proceeds of which now form part of our settlement fund which is acceptable to NB and CIC as discussed during the information session. With the sale of our property, we now have more than the required settlement fund for a family of two. See below our entries of our Settlement Fund. Form NBPNP-007 must be completed, dated and signed by both PA and the spouse and we attached original copies of bank certificates and statements in our 2 bank accounts commencing from date of opening. A 5-month and 4-month old bank accounts. Also, we attached original signed copies of our respective HDMF Provident Funds which is withdrawable according to seniors in P2C. This also forms part of our settlement fund. I indicated my credit card as part of our liability. As to the LOE, I just attached photocopies of our property's title, tax declaration, deed of sale, memorandum of agreement, bank certificates, bank statements and HDMF provident fund to show how we arrived at the total of our personal net worth. I have used www.bankofcanada.com for the currency converter from Philippine Peso to Canadian Dollar and vice versa. I clipped together our LOE with its attachments and the NBPNP-007 form and its original attachments.

Sixth, NBPNP-011: Fee Payment Form--Skilled Workers. To be filled up and signed by PA only. Processing fee of NBPNP is at CAD$250.00 and payable to the Minister of Finance. For reference, below is a demand draft which I requested from our bank. I attached this demand draft to NBPNP-011 Form.

Seventh, IMM 5476: CIC Use of Representative Form. This is not applicable to us so again I marked the provided box with an "X" and put on an N/A on it.

Eighth, Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report for Degrees, Diplomas or Certificates earned outside Canada. Applicants are required to send an original copy of their ECA through the CIC designated agent who evaluated their foreign school credentials. Thus, I logged in to my WES account and requested for a duplicate copy of my ECA to be delivered to NBPNP. I paid CAD$75.71 through credit card. The amount is inclusive of a pdf copy to be sent to CIC. I printed my order form made on 8 October 2015 and waited for a week for my request to be completed. I then printed the completed report, a pdf copy, which is found on my WES account. I stapled together the copies of the order form, completed duplicate ECA report, diploma and TOR. As per WES, my ECA report was received by NBPNP on 16 October 2015. Below is my ECA copy for this particular request from WES. You can see that it specifically states that it is a "Duplicate Evaluation Report". The same ECA Number like my original ECA except for the date and the annotation below the report.

Ninth, Canadian Educational Credentials for Degrees, Diplomas or Certificates. This is not applicable to me so I just put an N/A in the provided box.

Tenth, Work Experience for PA only. I have two employment for the past 10 years so I provided original signed copies of my reference letter for my present employer and certificate of employment with my past employer. I also attached photocopies of my 3 month payslips for each employment. Below is a sample of my reference letter from my present employer:

Eleventh, Arranged Employment. This is not applicable to me so again I put an N/A in the provided box.

Twelfth, Proof of Language Proficiency. I took the advise of my forum friends and attached in our full application my original IELTS report. This is because applicants will only be uploading his or her IELTS during CIC process. Thus, we saved money for another original copy with IDP Makati.

Note that I clipped together Nos. 6, 8, 10 and 12.

Thirteenth, Travel Documents and Passports. I scanned all the pages of our passports. Put 2 scanned copies in a bond paper to save paper and printed them. All colored copies. Thank you boss for the colored inks, LOL. Just to be sure, I made an LOE here because of the slips we pasted in our passports during our travel in Hong Kong and Macau. Unfortunately, said countries no longer stamps passport and they just give us paper slips. I clipped together (a) an original signed LOE with copies of our itinerary ticket and some pictures, and (b) colored copies of our passports.

Fourteenth, Identity and Civil Status Documents. I scanned and printed a colored copies of our birth certificates and marriage certificate for this part. I included in my birth certificate a petition for correction of my name to explain the annotation in it. I clipped together these documents.

Fifteenth, Children's Information. This is not applicable to us so I put an N/A in the provided box.

Sixteenth, Photo Requirements. I printed our respective name, date of birth and date when it was taken at the back of the photo and stapled them in a bond paper. Just go to a photo studio and tell them that your photo is for Canada Visa purposes then they will know what to do. As per instruction of NB, I stapled our photo at the back of NBPNP-DCEELMS.

Seventeenth, Proof of Close Relationship in New Brunswick. This is not applicable to us so again I just put an N/A in the provided box.

P.S., do not forget to put N/A in your forms as it specifically states by NBPNP to "do not leave any sections blank. If you leave any sections blank, your application will be returned to you and processing will be delayed. If any sections do not apply to you, answer n/a (not applicable)." Thus, just to be safe, I put every blank sections with an N/A as in everything.

There you go. We are done with our full application. Note that only those documents marked with a check mark were included in our full application. Those with N/A were disregarded. The address where you will send the full application is indicated in the document checklist. Below is our full application which we sent via DHL last 20 October 2015 or 24 days after NBPNP ITA.

The waiting game continuous and a little sprinkle of anxiety, LOL, plus lots of lots of prayer from our Father God. He will provide because He knows the desire of our hearts.
